Greetings fellow Rope Droppers,
Happy 55th birthday, Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom first opened its gates on October 1, 1971, and today the whole place gets another candle.
I won't be down in the parks for this one, and I'm more than a little jealous of everyone who is. The birthday has always been one of my favorite days for unexpected magic, the kind nobody puts on the schedule.
