Greetings fellow Rope Droppers,

For anyone traveling this week, we hope you had as smooth a trip as possible in the midst of a rough few days for the air system.

We sifted through 539 stories (plus a whole boatload of Destiny content!) this week to bring you this 4-minute read where we’re focusing on how much a new deal could save you, a pilot service that could save you time, and some familiar faces in the window…

We all love Disney World, but we all also know it can be a pricey little passion. That’s why we want to make sure folks know about a few new ticket promotions that dropped this week. After all, admission can be one of the costlier parts of any Disney vacation.

First up, there’s an offer for Disney+ subscribers that Disney Tourist Blog called “unprecedented.”

Here’s the breakdown:

  • It’s a three-day, three-park ticket, with start dates from January 12 to May 22, 2026.

  • Prices start at $325 plus tax total.

  • It’s not valid for admission to Magic Kingdom.

  • You can’t enter the other parks more than once each, so essentially you get one day each at Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

  • You can read the rest of the fine print here.

We really like this offer because it’s not often that ticket promotions show up for the general public and non-Florida residents.

How much could it save you? We pulled a few sample dates and lined them up against three day base tickets without Park Hopper. Those standard tickets do include the option to visit Magic Kingdom, which is worth keeping in mind when you look at the savings.

Start Date

Disney+ 3-Day Ticket

Regular 3-Day Ticket

Difference

Jan 12

$325

$476.31

$151.31

Feb 13 (Holiday Wknd)

$438.39

$534.62

$96.23

Mar 10

$404.66

$532.94

$128.28

Bottom line: It’s a solid chunk of savings. Expect the savings to be more on non-holiday periods. The question we think you should consider is whether Magic Kingdom is part of your plans, or if this makes it a skip (at least for this visit).

That’s not all: This week on Veterans Day, Disney also detailed military ticket discounts for 2026. You can find those details here.

Disney Parks Blog

It felt like every time you blinked this week there was another clip or post about the Disney Destiny. That’s because Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship was christened on Monday in Fort Lauderdale, ahead of her November 20 maiden voyage.

The ship’s godmother? Disney Legend Susan Egan, who voiced Megara in “Hercules” and also originated the role of Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. We love this pick for the Destiny!

This week also brought a test voyage following the christening, so we got a LOT of first looks at every last corner of the new ship. Here are a few of our favorites, tap in at your own risk of spoilers:

  • From Mulan to Brave, these are the deck-by-deck stateroom themes (@livingbydisney)

  • A look inside all of the Destiny's bars and lounges (@adventuresbycarly)

  • The Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King dinner show looks stellar (@mommypoints)

  • Meet the storytelling duo, Zayah & Gamble (@dcl_duo)

  • There’s a show with a Deadpool appearance! (@disneyfoodblog)

  • This is what happens in the Grand Hall at midnight (@themeparkshark)

  • And we’re really loving all of these villain encounters! (@doctordisney)

  • New Stripes: Say hi to Zarifa, a new zebra now on view along Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. She’s already hanging with Ziggy and the dazzle, so keep your camera ready on that path. (WDWNT)

  • It’s Not a Zoo: If you were wondering what the waits are looking like in the first week of Zootopia: Better Zoogether! - the data is in, and you can use it to plan your visit. (ThrillData

  • BDX Are Back: Surprise droid meet-and-greets popped up in Galaxy’s Edge during Jollywood Nights for Life Day… one droid at a time with swaps about every 30 minutes. You might meet Red, Grek, Oskar, or Besh. (WDWNT)

  • ADR Alert: Wailulu Bar & Grill at the Polynesian’s Island Tower will finally take reservations. Book starting Dec 3, 2025 for meals from Dec 4 on. If you’re chasing fireworks views at dinner, snag one early; walk-up may still happen, but plan to book. (DVC Fan)

  • Fireworks Feast: Ring in the New Year at California Grill with a four-course dinner, live music, Mickey & Minnie, and escorted Magic Kingdom fireworks viewing. Available on both December 30 and 31 (there are NYE fireworks showings both nights). (wdwinfo.com)

  • MVMCP Last Call: As of this writing, all but three Christmas party dates are sold out. Think fast if you’re considering it for this season. (Disney)

Starting next week on November 18, Disney is expanding a pilot that aims to ease your travel day.

“An existing pilot program already assists guests with departures from Walt Disney World, handling their luggage from select Walt Disney World resorts to the Orlando International Airport and on to their final destination.

The new pilot program completes the roundtrip service, effectively reviving the Remote Airline Check-In service that Walt Disney World discontinued years ago.”

A third party called BagCheck will run the service, with a goal of getting your bags to your resort within about four hours of your plane touching down. The pilot resorts are:

  • Disney’s All-Star Movies, Music, and Sports Resorts

  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

  • Disney’s Pop Century Resort

You will need to register on a Disney page that goes live today.

And finally for this week, some Hollywood Studios nostalgia. There’s a new addition to Christmas decor this year, and it’s giving all the feels of Hollywood yesteryear in so many ways.

Fans spotted a new holiday window at Tailors to the Stars with some very familiar faces. Cast members confirmed to WDW Magic that these mannequins are original Footlight Parade figures from The Great Movie Ride, now dressed for the season.
